Elephant #1
The sight of these elephants was quite distressing. Heavily chained, swaying side to side, their beautiful eyes searching, staring, seeming to scream.
Yet again, I found myself wanting to set animals free, to let them return to their habitat. Instead, they stood, trapped, a spectacle for tourists and locals alike.

I felt this Elephants sadness before I saw the chains & read your comment. Al & I had a massive fight in Greece once because I wanted to rescue a donkey! Poor babies :(
It is so sad how animals are treated. I've seen animals made into spectacles as I've traveled around Asia and it makes me sick. Thank you for sharing this and helping to bring attention to it.
