Jules has prompted me to write about the expat ‘condition’ here, and I think I will. Thank you also Jules for the impetus regarding how to approach what to shoot around here. You are right, as is usually the case (did I just say that??), in regards to finding a subject of interest in the ‘Encroachment’ discussion. I greatly appreciate your advice and input.

I have four days remaining in Siem Reap and will dedicate a good amount of this time to seeking out content for an ‘Encroachment or Advancement?’ photo-story - or at least the beginnings of one.

From here I am planning to rendezvous with Noémie, a Swiss lass, in Sihanoukville and then walk the Ream and Bokor National Parks, as well as visit the apparently very picturesque towns of Kampot and Kep.

I haven’t posted much in the way of blogs recently due to there being very unreliable Internet (mainly none at all) for the last few days due to an accidentally cut line… or some such tomfoolery. I will leave it at that for this post, and will endeavour to return tomorrow to add a new post and perhaps some photos.

All is well and I’m having a great time! Thanks for the comments and the emails everyone, they are much appreciated (when I finally get to read them!).
